I am so grateful for Cross Training San Marco and the results I have achieved during monthly boot camps at Cross Training of San Marco. I was struggling to lose weight on my own and desperate to find a program to inspire me to exercise as I should. Fortunately for me, I found CTSM. To date I have lost 80 pounds and with his help I have no doubt that I will lose the remaining 32 to reach my desired goal. Perhaps more! During my first month of boot camp I LOST 23 INCHES. In my second I lost even more pounds, double what I had in the first. I am STRONGER than ever before and I cannot remember a time when I have had so much ENERGY. Get Fit Boot Camp with Cross Training San Marco is the best decision I have made to get and stay in shape. I have never been able to commit to a consistent workout schedule or program, but after just one session, I have been hooked for now 7 months. There are many elements to the success of this program with the most important being the trainer, Chris. Chris is able to make everyone feel like an individual even when classes range anywhere from 5-15 people. He has an amazing attitude that keeps you motivated, dedicated and on point with the exercises. The sessions are all different offering a full body workout, but in a variety of ways. With intense workouts and the attentive demeanor of Chris, Boot Camp has changed my life not only physically but absolutely mentally.
Before beginning Boot Camp back in April, eating properly and maintaining an exercise program on my own was something that I struggled with. I treated eating properly and exercising regularly as a temporary “diet” solution to a long-term problem and not the lifestyle choice that it so obviously is. The energy of the class, the encouragement and unwavering support of the staff, and the variety and intensity level of the workouts have kept me engaged, focused and motivated. Accountability to a class and to a trainer but most of all, accountability to myself has made the biggest difference in this journey! Without Boot Camp and Cross Training San Marco, I don’t think I would have seen my quality of health and my fitness level improve so tremendously. To date, I have lost 77 lbs; 45 inches and I no longer need medicine for high cholesterol.
When I first started working out with my trainer at Cross Training San Maco, I was 50 pounds overweight and couldn’t run a mile without stopping. Since then I’ve lost 50 pounds and 7 inches on my waist (and then some) and regularly run 5K and 10K races. I am even training to run a marathon. Even after a year of personal training, I am still amazed at the weekly improvement in my overall fitness level. I’ve lost 50 pounds and 7 inches on my waist, increased stamina, and at 37 years old, I’m in the best shape of my life.
Get Fit Boot Camp at Cross Training San Marco is the best workout ever. I work harder in these half-hour sessions than I’ve ever worked out before. The CTSM staff pushes us and the entire group pushes each other to maximize our results. Every session is different, which keeps the body guessing, and there’s plenty of cardio in the workouts to keep your heart rate high. I appreciate the half-hour sessions, 4 days a week at 5:30 p.m., since it fits in well with my schedule. One of the benefits of working out with CTSM is being able to switch to the 6:30 a.m. session if my work or personal activities interfere with my regular boot camp. I started with the very first boot camp in January 2008, so it is now part of my routine and my life. I am now at my lowest weight in 5 years, which is amazing at 53 years old, but all of my hard work doesn’t just show on the scales – it also shows in my attitude. I highly recommend boot camp to any and everyone – regardless of size, weight, age or ability – there’s a level for everyone and you’ll be amazed at what you can accomplish!
My fitness objective was to get into the best shape possible before entering the US Marine Corps officer candidate school. My initial goal was to attain better cardio fitness. Through Cross Training San Marco I was able to drop my run time from a 30 minute 3 mile to a 25 minute 3 mile in less than a month and a half. As well my overall core strength increased. The CTSM staff assessed where I was fitness wise and challenged me from there.
The customer service I was provided was amazing. If I missed a boot camp the CTSM trainers were blowing up my cell phone! Cross Training San Marco provided far beyond the service and attention I expected for the financial investment required.
The USMC selection officer was very impressed with my improved performance and was better ensured that I would be successful in enduring one of the most strenuous fitness camps in the nation.
